Hi Barabara,

I am so pleased for you - how exciting BigGrin

We chatted before as we started getting liver problems at the same time last year.ThumbDown I haven't been on the forum much over the last few months as things have been a bit grim and it all got a bit much.

I had liver and kidney problems with MTX, Sulpha and Cyclosporine and refused Lefluyithingy as one too much! I seem to be able to tolerate Hydroxychloroquine, although to be honest I don't think it does much.

Anyway I have also been approved Humira and should start in a couple of weeks. Tongue

I've been eagerly reading your thread as your questions are all my questions!! - so thankyou very much!

I've just started an oral prednisolone holiday to keep me going until I start Humira, so I'm feeling on top of the world ( and desperately not thinking about the 25% failure rate and side effects) It would be fantastic to think we have now come through the worst - and I would be so grateful as my first grandchild is due in a few weeks which willmean lots of trips to France where my daughter lives.

I look forward to hearing how you get on and would love to swap experiences as a Humira rookie Cool Aren't we lucky to have so much good info and support on the forum!

All the best and chat again soon
Alison xx

Hi

I have been on Enbrel now for 4 weeks and so far it has been great - my mobility is much better and I too have had problems with raised liver enzymes and so far my bloods have been best ever!

I am still on a reducing dose of prednisolone though 5mg currently and I must say it has been a god send only thing that sees me through the bad patches! I just hope that the Enbrel will work on it's own once the prednisolone stops!!

I also tried Sulphasalazine, Methotrexate, Tacrolimus and Humira - so hoping this drug will be the one!
